Losehill House Restaurant

Award-Winning Restaurant in the Peak District

The restaurant at Losehill House is one of the finest places to eat in the Peak District. With panoramic views across the Hope Valley on three sides, a kitchen that takes local produce seriously, and food that tends to stay with guests long after they've left.

We are very proud of our award-winning restaurant. Many of our guests express genuine surprise and admiration for the quality of the preparation, the flavours and presentation which create a memorable dining experience in a wonderful setting.

Our restaurant holds two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence, and was named by The Times as one of their '20 best wild places to eat in Britain' - "a wonderfully tranquil setting for some serious fine dining." But what makes it special isn't just the accolades. It's the food itself: honest, carefully crafted, and rooted in the landscape you can see from every window.

We welcome non-residents for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, bar and lounge treats, and dinner, either à la carte or our Taste of Losehill menu, seven days a week.

Food That Knows Where It Comes From

We feel strongly about the quality and provenance of what we put on the plate. Wherever we can, we source from local Peak District producers - and the results speak for themselves.

Losehill Lamb & Beef, Drowned Villages Smokery Trout, Shivering Mountain Gin, Wire Works Whisky, and Renishaw wines are just a handful of the producers we're proud to work with. You'll taste the landscape in every course.
