Willow Tree Family Farm
Willow Tree Family farm is a charity farm based in Shirebrook designed ran by a group of dedicated volunteers. They have over 400 animals onsite ranging from farm animals like pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, donkeys, alpacas, and birds such as barn owls and finches.
They also have exotic animals, visit wallabies, meerkats, prairie dogs, reindeer, and more. There's lots more fun for all the family, jumping pillows, a sizeable wooden play park, sand pits, animal petting and a wallaby walk.

Wirksworth Wizarding Day
On Sunday, October 9, 2022, Wirksworth Wizards and Witches will offer you a magical day.
Visitors may anticipate magic and wonder, snakes and owls, broomsticks, train rides, a London Routemaster bus, magical crafts, and thousands of witches and wizards dressed to the nines. This year's event will build on the success of past ones.
A variety of magical activities for witches and wizards of all ages will be revealed as soon as they are finalised. From Duffield to Wirksworth, unique Wizarding Express Trains will run. The event website will shortly post information regarding events and rail reservations.
Wirksworth Wizarding Day is a fan-organised, charitable event organised by our community for the Harry Potter fan community. In no way are Warner Bros. Entertainment or J.K. Rowling connected to or in charge of the day.

Eyam Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Eyam's Bonfire Night activities are especially distinctive because they are held in the well-known Plague Village. The festivities for Bonfire Night start at 6.15 p.m. with a torch-lit parade of a "rat," which is preceded by entertainment in the village square starting at 5 p.m.
The chanting of "Burn the Rat" accompanies the procession as it makes its way through the community and onto the playing fields, where it is set on fire before a spectacular fireworks display. There will also be delicious drinks and cuisine. Locally, there are tickets available.
