We had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful wedding back in April this year, as Gemma and Lloyd tied the knot. Paul Joseph Photography took some amazing photographs on the day, and you can see the full selection over on their blog here.
Today we've had the pleasure of hosting a wedding at Losehill House Hotel. One of the exciting parts of hosting a wedding is seeing how each couple decide to decorate the hotel. The couple today had the great idea to hang flowers over our entrance door, as you can see in the image below.
This door is in fact the original door that was built in the Arts & Crafts style back in 1914 when the building was a farmhouse used by the CHA Walking Charity. The guesthouse welcomed people for 90 years until it was closed in 2001 due to the foot and mouth epidemic. The hotel you see today is here thanks to redevelopment by the previous owners.
This Bank Holiday weekend saw the wedding of Amanda & Mat take place here at Losehill House. Despite the rain everyone had a fantastic day and their photographer (Tim Hensel Photography) did a wonderful job of capturing the celebration.
Here are a couple of their photos, with the first making good use of our lovely bay window:
