Full & Part-Time Beauty Therapist

Due to expansion of the spa we are looking for full- time and part-time Beauty Therapist’s to join our team at Losehill House Hotel & Spa.

Applicants must have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.

The spa is open 7 days per week, 364 days per year. Shifts will be between the hours of 8.30am and 7.30pm on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.

The starting salary is £8.00 per hour.

A knowledge of Thalgo products would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. Fully paid Thalgo training will be provided but applicants must be able to get themselves to the training venues in either Manchester or Tamworth.

We are situated in the village of Hope, approximately 30 minutes from South Sheffield & 20 minutes from Buxton.

Your own transport is essential due to our location, the nearest train station is 2.5 miles away & staff accommodation is not available.


Chef de Partie

We are looking for a Chef De Partie for our busy 4 Star, 2 Rosette fine dining kitchen.

Losehill House is privately owned and has been developed into the finest Boutique Hotel & Spa in Derbyshire. We are passionate about the Peak District National Park as a wonderful place to live, visit and enjoy, celebrating the unique character of the area in everything we do.

We are an ambitious team looking to recruit a full-time chef de Partie to join our expanding team.

You will be responsible for preparing menus, preparation of ingredients. Follow the guidance from the Sous Chef. Follow strict health & hygiene standards. Ability to multi task and work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of good cooking practices. Current food hygiene and NVQ certificates. Driven and self-motivated.

Waiting Staff

We have a vacancy for a Full Time Waiter or Waitress at a 4 star country house hotel in the restaurant and bar.

Shifts will include but not exclusively, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Due to our location your own transport is essential.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

We require all of our staff to be out going, enthusiastic, able to work alongside a team and with an aim to deliver the highest quality of service.

Kitchen Porter

A Kitchen Porter has various duties and responsibilities to perform. Their job is focused on keeping the kitchen clean at all times in order to have a hygienic environment for the chefs to work on.

A Kitchen Porter is responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen area wherein a regular schedule of cleaning refrigerators, ovens, grills, freezers and food preparation areas is followed.

It is the duty of a Kitchen Porter to handle the dish washing using a dishwasher and washing dishes manually.

Janitorial work including mopping and sweeping of floors, cleaning up of floor drains and trash removal, cleaning of toilets.

A Kitchen Porter may also be responsible to receive and store food deliveries as well.

3 days per week, some weekends and evening shifts.
