Directions

Hope is situated on the A625/ A6187 between Hathersage and Castleton.

On entering Hope, turn into Edale road opposite the church. Continue for approximately one mile, passing the Cheshire Cheese pub about half way. As the road narrows, you will see a Y junction along with a brown tourism sign pointing to the left hand fork in the road. There is a sign for Losehill House Hotel and Underleigh Guest House behind the wall. Bear immediately left along a single track road. Continue for about half a mile, staying on the right hand side when the road forks. Losehill House Hotel is a large white building on the right hand side, after Underleigh Guest House.

Please be aware that we are in the Peak National Park and that our signage is restricted.

If you are using sat nav the old name of Losehill House Hotel was Moorgate and this may well appear on your screen for our postcode S33 6RF so please program to this name as the postcode covers a very wide area - not many buildings in this part of the valley!

Turn LEFT coming from Castleton



Turn RIGHT coming from Hathersage



Turn LEFT off Edale Road when the road narrows, if you pass over a narrow bridge you have missed us!

Losehill House Hotel is situated on the single track road between Underleigh Guest House and Oaker Farm.

Please be aware that Losehill Hall (Peak Park Training and Conference Centre) is on Castleton Road in Castleton and is often mistaken for Losehill House Hotel. Ensure that you turn onto Edale Road opposite Hope church.
